Since the Middle Ages eyebright has been used to relieve eyestrain and eye infections. It is rich in Vitamin A and C. It contains B complex, D and some vitamin E, iron, silicon, copper and zinc.

BILBERRY (Vaccinium myrtillus)
Research has found its properties to be beneficial to the eyes. It strengthens the capillaries around the eyes. Bilberry works by accelerating the regeneration of retinol purple, a substance required for good eyesight. It is considered a beneficial herb to be used to prevent cataracts. OREGON GRAPE: (Berberis Aquifolium)
A very valuable herb. Its antibiotic action similar to tetracycline and streptomycin. Contains Hydrastine which is the same ingredient in Visine.
